Yuletide letter 2023

Thank you for writing for me this year :)
As always with yuletide, the point is to have fun. Please pay attention to all the optional details only as much as they help and inspire you, and ignore all that does not!
You will find many past years on this blog - feel free to scroll on down and take inspiration from them also, my likes and dislikes have not changed much this past decade.
I chose all these fandoms for nostalgia this year. They are old, well read favourites. That does not mean I don't want to see them and their worlds in new lights, but it does mean I'd like them handled with a level care - if bad things happen, please have it all end happily in the end!
I really enjoy slice of life stories, and also cannon divergent AUs that explore what might have happened if one decision went differently.
I enjoy the regency setting and language, and the comedy of manners that they allow.
Crossovers are welcome for any of these, either between each other or with other series. Some that could be fun include: Dr Who, BtVS, Hornblower.
Black sheep - Georgette Heyer
This remains one of my all time favourite Heyer novels. I do like the setting as well as the characters so would prefer a story that stays in the time period. That being said, I enjoy corssovers etc so if you would like to go wild and think about what would happen if Dr Who visited etc please do enjoy yourself!
I'd love a slice of life, before during or after the novel.
What I really enjoy from this novel is the delightful energy of Abigail, balanced with her more mature perspective than some of Heyer's novels. Really anything that has her living her best life would make me very happy!

The Grand Sophie
I love the humour and practicality of Sophie, and think Eugenia is a wonderful foil for her. I would be interested in a character growth arc for Eugenia, who has so much to learn about the world.
I would love to see more of these three interacting, in any combination. They are very funny to me! That could be slice of life, during or post novel.
This is a book I would be interested to see a modern or different setting for too.
DNW major character death, rape. The one thing I greatly dislike from this otherwise delightful novel is the antisemitism, so please steer clear of that too.
Persuasion
This is one of my all time faavourite novels, and Anne continues to grow on me.
I love all these characters so much. I really enjoy different choice AUs, and would love an exploration of paths not taken with these characters - what if Anne was not persuaded to leave Frederick? What is Sophie had children? What if the Elliot's lost even more money? What if Anne went adventuring with Frederick?
Alternatively, slice of life post novel would also be delightful.
This is another one where crossovers could be delightful.
